Fables Auctions are open...

However; like all businesses at the moment, we have had to make some necessary changes to keep our staff, loyal customers, vendors and friends safe.

Please read on to find out what is going on at Fables.

Catalogue/Gallery: Our catalogue is uploaded on to our website every Friday and so are our pictures of the items we have to auction that week. Please Note: Catalogues are not available to purchase from us. However, they can be uploaded on any electrical/mobile device. If you require any assistance with this, please ask and we will be happy to help.

Facebook: We also upload pictures to our Facebook page too.

Simply type ‘Fables Auctions’ in to the search bar on Facebook and our page should pop up. Like and follow our page to keep up to date with what is going on at Fables.

Viewing Day: We are open for Viewing Day on Mondays from 11am – 3pm to view the items we have to auction. Staff will be ready and available to answer any questions you may have and to offer any assistance you may need. Please Note: We ask you to be mindful of others and keep a respectful distant. Masks also be worn by all who enter Fables Auctions and they MUST be kept on for the whole duration of your stay.

If you attend Fables and have not got a mask, one can be provided for you from our office.

If you are not able to wear a mask for medical/other reasons, please contact us to let us know prior to attending Fables.

Please Note: There will be no food/drink available.

Viewing Online: For those that may not feel ready to attend Fables yet, you can still use our website or our Facebook page to view the items we have to auction. All items can be viewed via the pictures online and if anyone wants more detailed pictures, more information on specific items or has any questions, then they can simply contact us and we will be ready and available to help. We have a range of ways in which we can be contacted and these are at the end of this page.

Auction Day: Our Auctions are every Tuesday. We open at 10am and our Auctions commence at 11am. You are welcome to attend and bid in person. However, we ask those who attend to be mindful of others and to keep a respectful distance. Masks MUST also be worn by all who enter Fables Auctions and they MUST be kept on for the whole duration of your stay.

If you attend Fables and have not got a mask, one can be provided for you from our office.

If you are not able to wear a mask for medical/other reasons, please contact us to let us know prior to attending.

If bidding in person, you will be required to register at our office and obtain a bidding card. There is a registration fee of £50.00 that is fully refundable or simply deducted from your invoice.

Please Note: You will not be able to bid without registering and obtaining a bidding card.

Pre-bids: If you would like to bid on any items but cannot attend in person or don’t feel ready to do so, you can leave commission bids via the contact details below or at the end of this page.

Pre-bids NEED to be made via phone call, text message, WhatsApp, email or Facebook.

All we ask is for you to leave your full name, up to date contact details, the lot numbers and a brief description of the items you would like to bid on and also the highest amount you are willing to bid for the items.

We accept bids from the Friday through to the Tuesday.

Please Note: No bids will be accepted after 10am on the Tuesday.

Invoices & Collection When Attending An Auction: When you have finished bidding, simply return to our office to finalise your invoice. An invoice will be generated for you and you will be required to make an appointment for payment and collection of the items you have won.

Invoices & Collection For Those Who Left Pre-bids: As soon as the auction is finished, an invoice is generated and you will be notified if your bids were successful via the means in which you contacted us. We will also arrange an appointment time that’s convenient with yourselves for you to pay and collect the items you have won at auction.

Appointments For Payment & Collection: Collection is ONLY available by appointment on Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays and those who attend are asked to be mindful of others and keep a respectful distant. Masks MUST also be worn by all who enter Fables Auctions and they MUST be kept on for the whole duration of your stay.

Payment: Payment for items is via cash or card. Cheques, bank transfers or over the phone payments are not accepted.

Vendors: Any vendors wishing to enter items in to our auction can contact us via the contact details at the end of this page.

We at Fables know that this is a little different to how we have operated in the past and we haven’t taken these decisions lightly.

However, we believe that these changes are important and we believe that they are needed to keep everyone as safe as possible.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued custom, friendship and support at a time that has been very difficult for everyone.
